With almost every minute of our life being connected to and through the world of Internet, we are not only dependent but are a part of this cyber system or Cyberworld that runs our world now.
Be it socializing, connecting, interacting, shopping gifts or groceries, transactions of business or money transactions to near and dear ones, games in our pastime , dating for the teenagers , it is all there on the cyber world and we all are completely entangled in this world of web.
What alarms more is the exposure of young minds, our children to this threatening world, which has both its good and bad sides!
Children who are known to be more softer and flexible in nature get molded in a way that they are given and an overall extra exposure to such a world which is on the fingertips, is a risk , as before learning the nuances of behaviour, nature, character and being socially safe and balanced, they get exposed to the invisible pseudo world.
Isn’t it the need of the hour to include a subject like Cyber Psychology in the curriculum in schools,as we being an integral part of this web world , it has become important and necessary to make the children aware of the behaviour in the internet community?

RESPONSIBLE NETISM has taken a very good cause as its initiative to create awareness and sensitize the young children by organizing sessions and seminars in schools, colleges . The name itself speaks about its mission and thought behind the same. To prepare the younger generation to be a good netizen , is the foundation for a safe and secured Net world for tomorrow.
The term netizen is a portmanteau of the words Internet and citizen as in “citizen of the net”. Netism comes from the same, the behaviour of a netizen in the world of Internet.
Responsible Netism comes up with a Cyber Psychology Conference every year , this 3rd NATIONAL CYBER PSYCHOLOGY CONFERENCE will throw light upon crucial topics such as types of cyber crimes against children, the need for child online protection, legal interventions and framework to deal with online distress, balancing mental well-being in cyber space and formulating cyber hygiene policies to safe-guard children. The conference is presented by UNICEF, Maharashtra State Council of Education Research and Training (MSCERT) and Ahaan Foundation. Supported by the Ministry of Education – Maharashtra, Maharashtra State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MSCPCR) and Twitter with Maharashtra Cyber as the Knowledge Partner.

This cyber conference certainly shall invoke many topics, discussions and lead to ways of dealing with the serious crimes and prevention of those by responsible behavior.
Definitely colleges, schools, institutions need to gear up and include their students, teachers, guides, parents in such a kind of gathering where they can get more aware and find solutions to critical situations. If you are in Mumbai, or any of your friends are there, do register and attend this important conference .
With clones, drones, AI’s , bots, robots, and much more to explore, invent in this larger than life macro world of Internet and Social Media, let us keep ourselves alert, aware, safe and take precautions for a secured future .
There are many organizations nowadays that help in different kinds of situations, other than the cyber crime cell.
